Romantic fine white lawn dress/petticoat with round neck, pouffy pigeon-breast, long tight sleeves and 10 tiny, original lace-covered buttons down the back. It is fitted and pin-tucked from waist to hip, and has a full, ruffled skirt. It's in excellent condition and very wearable (with a slip underneath!), apart from a couple of weak areas from hook-and-eye stress at the back of the waist, which can be reinforced, a few, tiny spots of edgewear at hemfold and 4-5 rust spots at hemline. No stains like it looks in the photo!

Pretty, romantic white lawn and lace Edwardian ankle-length afternoon dress (or petticoat?) with short sleeves and square neck, and loads of pin tucks and inset bands of lace and crochet work. Fastens down the back with hooks and eyes, some of which have little rust marks under them; there are a few tiny holes in the lace, and the waist at the back shows a bit of stress (easily covered with a belt). Apart from that it's in very good condition and very wearable (with a slip underneath!)

E8 c1915 white lawn and crochet lace dress
Pretty little white Edwardian dress with crochet/lace insets, a square neck and elbow-length lacy sleeves, which fastens up the back with 13 original little mother-of-pearl buttons. Very good condition and wearable (with a slip underneath!).

E9 Sea-blue bodice with metallic thread tassels
This unusual sea-blue taffeta jacket top has a low, square neckline edged
front and back with vertical bands ending in unusual, original metallic
tassels. The sleeves have horizontal pleats all the way down and cuffs
edged in the same blue embroidered lacework that trims the neck and
waist. The front fastening is asymmetrical. The bodice has some light
staining and weak points. Bust: 32". Waist: 24".

E10 c1910 white sprigged muslin blouse with large gathered sleeves
This Edwardian blouse has the most gorgeous gathered elbow-length poets sleeves. It fastens with buttons and hooks-and-eyes at the front. The white cotton lining is very fitted, and the overlay of fine muslin embroidered with flower sprigs is heavily gathered and ruched. There are some small holes and marks (shown) but they are not noticeable because of the gathering.

Delicate, very feminine ecru blouse made of several different, sheer and delicate silk fabrics - netting with embroidery, a thin crepe, and lace - with a sailor collar and long sleeves. This is a wearable size, not tiny. There is some wear at the waisband, but the rest of the blouse is clean and free of stains and tears.

This dress is from the era when Poiret and Lucile began to transform silhouettes with their sleek, draped, unstructured designs. It's made of soft, heavy cream silk satin, with a transparent chiffon top that only retains its modesty where it's double-layered! The skirt falls from a swathed cummerbund into a wrapped hobble shape with a long, weighted train. Very complicated and flattering! Would make a stunning wedding dress (if worn carefully!)

I love this dress. It's an every-day kind of outfit of brownish wool, but it has a lovely classic straighter c.1918 cut and 60 (yes, 60) lovely matching original buttons adorning it at every available opportunity. There are a few moth holes in the skirt part.
